We are pleased to announce that the Beowulf blockchain mainnet has now been launched on October 1, 2019. This is a necessary step in realizing the full potential of the Beowulf Blockchain for serving as a global communications platform. In this blog article, we will provide a rundown of the developments necessary to transition from a testnet to a mainnet, with details of the plan including an important update for Supernode holders and private investors as follows:
- During the first 2 weeks from October 1 to October 13, 2019: We will perform the Testnet transition process, moving communication transactions from testnet to the Beowulf mainnet.
- From October 14 to December 2: Users are able to create on-chain wallets to facilitate withdrawals/deposits, as well as the payments of transaction fees in the Beowulf network. During this phase, we will be open for Supernode holders and private investors.
“This release is a significant milestone for Beowulf and our community,” said Dr. William H. Nguyen, Founder and CEO. ” Making the Beowulf blockchain available on the mainnet is an open call for collaborative development. We can now connect investors, developers, manufacturers and consumers to bring forth innovation in an exponential manner.”
Beowulf believes that a combination of reduced costs, cutting edge technologies, and swift delivery will spur rapid adoption of the Beowulf network by companies, developers, and manufacturers. Ultimately, this cycle of innovation will drive the next wave of technological advances that will provide value for people across the world.
